Science of Adhesive Silicone Sheeting

In response to requests of some of our customers we have added an adhesive option to our medical grade silicone sheeting. The added adhesive layer is a silicone gel or very lightly linked silicone fluid that is fused to our standard silicone sheeting as an adhesive. The action of this adhesive silicone sheeting can be different from our standard pure elastomer silicone sheeting and may not be as effective. As is the case in all adhesive silicone gel sheeting products, this silicone adhesive gel sheeting may required tape to hold the sheeting in place at some point during the treatment. Both sides of the silicone sheeting (adhesive and non-adhesive) may be used for scar management.
