Q. I have keloids on my shoulders and chest. I would say for about fifteen years. Most of the products of this kind only works on relatively new scars. I have tried a few of them with no results. Is there any concrete evidence that this product can work on scars as old as mine?

A. Yes, but you have to be patient. Scars as old as yours take a longer time, usually 6 months to a year. It doesn't resolve the keloid gradually, but when they start to flatten it happens rather dramatically. Once resolved they never come back. This is why ReJuveness is much more economical than gel sheeting in cases like yours. Gel sheeting falls apart and needs to be replaced every two weeks. One sheet of ReJuveness last up to six months. We also have a scar conditioning cream that has been working wonders when used in conjunction with ReJuveness silicone sheeting. Older keloids, like yours are flattened within two months as opposed to 6 months. Call 800-588-7455 if you need to hear more.

Q. My son had a broken bottle pushed in his cheek about six years ago. Although the scar has faded slightly it is still very livid especially in cold weather. Would your product help at all?

A.Yes our scar conditioning cream will work.

Q. We use ReJuveness silicone sheets for our son, 9 years old, who suffered from burn. After 1 month of usage we do see improvements of his scars. But, on the other hand, he has very dry skin under the sheets (now he uses sheets 23 hours per day). What would you recommend in this case? Shall we temporary stop usage, or use some creams (but sheets shall be applied to dry skin surface). Unfortunately, physicists in Ukraine, where we live, have almost no experience in usage of silicone sheeting, so I would be so much grateful for your response. Thanks in advance. Yuri.

A. Just keep using the sheet. We have a cream that will help to even the color.

Q. Hi! My wife has just undergone a surgery for thyroid cancer and has a post operative scar as a result of the procedure. The scar is along the neck and is about 40 days old now. Can ReJuveness help in reducing this? The scar is in the form of an arc

A. Yes ReJuveness will flatten and bring the scar to normal color.

Q. Does ReJuveness work on scars that are slightly raised and have turned white? Like a pock mark for example.

A. Yes on pock marks, which I understand to be indented. It takes a while for the scars to fill up, so you have to be patient and persistent.

Q. The scar is inside and outside of her mouth in the same location. Do you think that it can soften the scar tissue from the outside of her face? Does this make sense?? It is a bit hard to explain..... Her dermatologist gave me the xxxxx brand gel sheets and I had heard that ReJuveness might have a higher success rate. Can you tell me what would set you apart from the typical store brand sheeting? Thanks for your help, Dawn

A. Well you are correct about xxxxx gel sheets. If it is on the outside also the ReJuveness will probably work. The store bought sheeting is gel sheeting. ReJuveness is non-gel. You need only one sheet of ReJuveness throughout the whole duration of treatment. Also silicone pieces will not break off into mouth or lesion area.

Q. I am interested in using your product on my 5 year old daughter. She has a scar underneath her lip that is raised because of scar tissue inside her mouth. Is this product safe to use on the face of young children?

A. Yes it is safe to use on children

Q. I have a scar resulting from glass cut, can you help?

A. yes, how does your scar appear. Is it a red scar and a raised scar?

Q. 3 weeks ago I had spine surgery. I have an 8" scar across my lower tummy & an 6" scar up my back. Also, would these sheet help for someone who has old keloids scars that drive them nuts. My mom has a tummy that looks like a mutants

A. ReJuveness should stop the itching immediately. She needs to understand that this is a treatment that usually last 6 weeks to three months, but could last up to six months. Also our scar conditioning cream should really speed the process along. Good news is after the scars flatten and come back to normal color, they will not come back. they are a permanent resolution. Also she should use ReJuveness right after any wound dry up and keloids won't form in the first place.

Q. Please tell me can ReJuveness silicon sheeting therapy and scar healing cream can be used on 3 year old child with scar on her forehead.

A. yes, our products are very gentle to the skin.

Q. Can I buy ReJuveness from Croatia (Europe). Can ReJuveness be used on 4 years old child.

A. yes, we ship to Croatia and yes our product works with children 4 years old

Q. Is there proof that your patches work better than gel sheeting?

A. Just what people tell us. The main difference is economical. Gel sheeting that needs to be replaced every week or two. ReJuveness is non-gel so one piece last entire duration of treatment. This can make a big difference, especially with the larger scars.

Q. My daughter suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns last December 2003 and have developed keloidal scars on her 3rd degree burns. Can she be treated with your product? Considering that it has been 8 months since she had her accident.

A. Yes. The sooner the better.

Q. My son has a new facial scar. The wound had been treated with > > surgical super glue. The scar does not appear to be raised. Will ReJuveness help it?

A. It sounds as though it is proceeding rather normally. At this point ReJuveness can be used as a preventive measure against any scarring problems. This includes hypertrophic formation, under scarring, hyper pigmentation (staying red or pink) or hypo pigmentation (whiter than normal scar).

Q. I have a number of razer cuts on my legs, some as old as 9 months. Some other quite visible and red, others not so bad. Will your product be helpful to me?

A. It sounds like ReJuveness will help you greatly

Q.How does the scar cream work?

A.The cream is a trans dermal formulation with the optimal ratio of lipids (cholesterol, ceramides and essential fatty acids) that penetrate the skin and provide the nutrients to rebuild the stratum corneum from the inside out. the top layer of skin is completely compromised in these hyper-prolific scars. We believe the Silicone sheeting stimulates the cells (CD36) that transport these lipids to the lameller bodies doing the rebuilding and in the case of hypertrophic scarring absorb and draw calcium so these antigens get release. We can provide samples of the silicone sheeting, but the cream is just so expensive to make we don't sample it at this time. We will give a money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with the results. We are achieving almost scar less results in many patients. we will send brochures and samples to your office. The products are only available directly from our website or by calling 800-588-7455. Thank you for your interest in ReJuveness.

Q. hi. i was wondering does the cream work for people who have gotten "double eye-lid" surgery. i don't know the clinical name for it.. most Koreans and Japaneses people get it who have single eye lid surgery to get a fold; which creates the double eye lid.In the corner of my top eye close to my nose,i have this scar that is slightly raised.. sort of like when you get a cut, slight raised.. and it looks a bit noticeable. will it be o.k to use this product on it? I'm scared @ the same time.. hope you can let me know and let me know the possible effects as well. cause I'm scared that it may erase my fold...? hehe.. thanks alot. hope to hear from you soon. p.s i think they call it "blepharoplasty surgeon" for the doctor's that do that procedure. thanks alot!!

A. The scar you have will be helped by both ReJuveness sheeting and the hyper-heal cream. Both products are complete safe. Hyper-Heal cream is made of all natural highly emulsified lipids. The sheeting may be hard to put on the part of the face you describe, but can be cut to fit most areas. The combination gives the best results but either by itself will also work.

Q. I was burned my hot water in Feb 07, the scar is now dark and I want to know if my skin will ever be the copper brown it was before the burn, if so, what treatment do you recommend?

A. Your skin sounds like it is hyper pigmented at the moment. The coloring usually goes away but can take some time to do that. If you want to speed up the lightening we recommend the Hyper-Heal cream by itself or the Hyper-heal cream and silicone sheeting combination

Q. I have a road rash injury that is almost 2 weeks old. I used j&j adhesive pads and was able to prevent scabbing. I now have white skin (that is flat) in place of the wound. My concern is the pigment returning to the area. I also have a keloid in the past from a minor surgery. Do you have any suggestions or advice for me? Also, if I do use your scar therapy product when can I begin using it? Is is better to begin right away or wait a few weeks until the healing process is completed 100%? HELP!

A. The white that you have now will probably not be permanent, but the white thin scar at the end of the healing process will be. Start using ReJuveness silicone sheeting now to best prevent the hypo pigmentation (whiteness)

Q. My daughter burned her hand by iron before a week ago can your product help her scar heal properly for prevent scar

A. You can apply the Hyper-Heal cream or ReJuveness silicone sheeting or both

Q. I have a 6 inch long scar on my left thigh caused by superficial burning by boiling water, the scar is two months old , is flat and pigmented in areas where I had blisters.pls suggest a treatment so that i can get rid of it at the earliest ,it is fading slowly but i cant wait so long.Pls suggest a keloids product. Regards Deepali Methi

A. It sounds as if you have hyper pigmentation. These marks sometimes take time to disappear. The hyper-heal cream can speed up process and the combination of hyper-heal cream and ReJuveness silicone sheeting should make it go away even quicker.

Q. Hi, i would just want to know what will be the best product of the brand you can suggest for an existing scars? I have noticed your product is mostly effective to be used for an unhealed wounds. What about for scars that has been there for almost more than 20 years? These cars are due to some skin allergies in her legs when she was a kid and not has been completely treated. Do you have any suggestion?

A. If they scars are red, darker and raised higher or lower than the surrounding skin, ReJuveness silicone sheeting and Hyper-heal cream will help. Whitish flat thin scar is the sign of a properly healed wound. Not much can be done about them at this point. If these scars are addressed in the healing phase with ReJuveness silicone sheeting and hyper-heal cream some patients report achieving a permanent scar less effect.

Q. I've recently had surgery on my forehead for skin cancer...just under my widow's peak..the scar is in the shape of and H, about 2 1/2" wide, 1 1/2" high, just had the stitches removed..what should I use to reduce the scar and help healing. Also what can I use for sunspots to reduce the pigment?

A. Patients report back very positive results using ReJuveness silicone sheeting post-op skin cancer. The Hyper-Heal cream should help those sun-spots.

Q. I just had a procedure done to remove a bump and have a scar I'd like to use keloids on. I am 9 weeks pregnant. Is ReJuveness safe to use during pregnancy? Thanks!

A. ReJuveness silicone sheeting is considered a class 1 bandage by FDA. That is the safest rating. Any effects are local to the scarred area.

Q.I have a navel piercing scar. Should I buy the 1.6" diameter discs? What is most effective? There are two small dark holes, about 1/2" apart. Thanks!

A. Because it is probably an uneven surface it sounds as if the disc would be best suited.

Q. What products do you recommend to manage a 4- 4.5in scar from just under the jaw line to the collarbone? I had the surgery July 6th. The closure was done with subcutaneous stitching. When would be the ideal time to begin treatment of the scar?

A. It seems a little bit early to start scar treatment. you might want to start with the Hyper-Heal cream next week. Use very little, just a dab. In a couple of weeks you may want to start with ReJuveness R412 silicone sheeting.

Q. I have dog bite scar-- plastic surgeon told us to leave her scar alone for three weeks after her surgery, then after that start to apply lotions and massage. I wonder if we could use this product sooner, after one week as you suggest

A. Its best to go with your Physician's recommendation. You probably wouldn't gain any advantage by starting earlier.

Q. I had a c-section 9 months ago and the scar has developed a keloid which i need to get rid of as it causes discomfort and itching.

A. The ReJuveness silicone sheeting will take care of that. The itching and discomfort should be resolved rather quickly after you start using it. The keloid itself will probably take anywhere from 2 to 4 months to flatten and bring back to normal color. You should wear the ReJuveness sheeting at least 8 hours a day but in your case you will probably be able to continuously wear it two day s at a time. you can bath with it if you like. The addition of the Hyper Heal cream to the regiment should shorten the treatment time considerably and leave a more aesthetic looking scar. You should start treatment as soon as you can because the longer you wait, the harder it is to heal.

Q. Does the Hyper Heal Cream help pitted acne scarring - can I use it if I am a diabetic and also the silicon sheets - can I order if I live in Australia Australia? - I am currently using Proactive on my skin can I use this while using your products? Many thanks, Amanda

A.The Hyper-heal cream would work with the silicone sheeting for your pitted acne scars. We would not recommend mixing with acne treatments.

Q. I am a 28 yr old African American female and have many scars all over my body because of face/body acne and chicken pox. I have a chocolate complexion. Majority of these scars and over 10 years old and are black or light in the middle and black around the light spot. Do you think any of your products will work for me? If so, which ones?

A. Nothing is certain in medicine. It sounds like you have a lot going on there. I would say using the Hyper-heal cream and ReJuveness silicone sheeting is worth a try.

Q. I wanted a cream to reduce some scars appearance on my face

A. What do the scars look like? are they raised or indented, Are they darker or lighter than the skin surrounding them. If you give us this information we can tell you what can help, if anything.

Q. Do you manufacturer ReJuveness tape for foreskin restoration?

A. Yes, our tape works very well to heal foreskin.

Q. HI I recently cut my forehead. I received 5 stitches. The wound is recent around 2 weeks old. I am using a jel to reduce the scaring. What product should I use from ReJuveness. Please respond urgently.

A. we recommend the ReJuveness silicone sheeting and Hyper-heal cream. Patients report back near scar less results when they start the treatment on recently formed wounds.

Q. Is Rejuveness scar cream safe to use on a red scar caused by impetigo or herpes scarring.

A. yes, Rejuvenees works very well for both.

Q. i have a burn scar on my face, it is thick in the center of the scar, it is about 3cm an 4 cm n length, it is also darker in the middle, will your product work for me in flatten in the scar and help give back the color? if this product works. I would like to buy both the cream and the silicone sheets. but how will i us it together?

A. From what you describe it sounds like ReJuveness silicone sheeting and Hyper-heal cream would be a good application to flatten and bring your scar back to normal color. Probably a small cream and disc will fit. A good protocol would be to apply a little dab of cream in the morning, rub in gently. In the evening apply some hyper-heal cream again and wear the sheeting while you sleep. Treatment time is usually 6 weeks to three months.

Q. My son had a little chunk of skin taken from his forehead right above the bridge of his nose by a tree branch. The scar is very small & appears to be slightly sunken like a little divet. The scar is pretty red yet as it has been 2 1/2 weeks. He is 8 yrs old. Do you recommend a product to treat this or should I leave it alone? I have been told not to use silicone since the scar is not raised. I would like to do something to minimize any future scar if possible.

A. Although silicone sheeting is not indicated for indented scars like you describe we have many patients reporting back very positive and desired results of the scar filling in when they use ReJuveness silicone sheeting. Better results are obtained when the treatment includes Hyper-heal cream. We don't know why the silicone sheeting is able to do this is some cases.

Q. Is Rejuveness better than Mederma? and how long does a shipment take to arrive?

A. For what it says it does ReJuveness products are much better than Mederma. This has been demonstrated both clinically and under scientific scrutiny. An international panel of 12 scientific and medical experts reviewed both the scientific evidence and experience in the clinic and scientific peer reviewed papers determined silicone sheeting the number treatment for problem scarring of all treatments. Mederma was mentioned as a treatment that had been found non-effective.

Q. Hi, I need to know how much for the shipping in kansas of 54gms scar cream and 10 cm silicone sheeting. And one thing I need to know, I am using an acne free creams and moisturizers that need to use morning and evening and stay on for a day. Can I use rejuveness even though Im using some other products or do I need to stop. Thanks you so much! charleme

A. Shipping fee is $7.95. I would test using your current creams with the silicone sheeting. It seems on many instances that the silicone sheeting improves on these. The Hyper-heal cream acts almost like a super moisturizer. So a testing of what you will continue to use should be done by you. We couldn't really give you any definitive answer.
